Shimada Kenya
Professor
Affiliation Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center
Discipline Synchrotron Radiation Science for Condensed Matter
Academic Degrees The University of Tokyo Ph.D.
The University of Tokyo Master of Science
Research Fields Mathematical and physical sciences; Physics; Condensed matter physics II
Mathematical and physical sciences; Physics; Condensed matter physics I
Research Keywords synchrotron radiation / angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy / electronic band structure, Fermi surface / strongly correlated electron systems / Itinerant magnetism, spin polarization
Comments By means of high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy using synchrotron radiation in the UV and VUV region at Hiroshima Synchrotron Radiation Center, I clarify the electronic states of solids such as magnets and superconductors, in order to understand origins of the physical properties.
