My area of expertise is material physics. In particular, I am conducting research aimed at developing materials with higher functionality and performance by analyzing the mechanism for improving properties from the material structure. The content can be roughly divided into the following five points. (1) Optimization of material processes by microstructural control on the nano/mesoscale (2) Nano to millimeter scale evaluation of mechanical and functional properties (3) Microstructural observation and quantification using optical microscopy and scanning/transmission electron microscopy (4) Modeling by computer simulation (molecular dynamics method, finite element method, etc.) (5) Quantitative evaluation of material structure and factor analysis of various physical properties by machine learning (AI) |
