Comments | Takashi Ogi is Professor in the Chemical Engineering Program, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, Hiroshima University. He received BS (2004) and MS (2006) degrees in chemical engineering from Hiroshima University, and he received Ph.D. (Engineering) (2008) in chemical engineering at Hiroshima University. He was a JSPS researcher from 2006 to 2008, an assistant professor at Osaka Prefecture University from 2008 to 2010, an assistant professor at Hiroshima University from 2010 to 2014, an associate professor at Hiroshima University from 2015 to 2020 prior to becoming current position. His research concerns nanostructured particles and their applications as well as aerosol science and technology research field. He has received several honors and awards including the MEXT Award (Young Scientist Award) in 2020, the Asian Young Aerosol Scientist Awards in 2013, the Society of Powder Technology Young Researchers Award in 2013, and the Society of Chemical Engineers (Award for Outstanding Young Researcher) in 2012. Prof. Ogi has 149 scientific SCI papers, 40 review papers, 21 book chapters, and more than 20 patents. His achievement has contributed to progress in particle science and technology in Japan, Asia, and worldwide. Professor Ogi is currently in the editorial board of Advanced Powder Technology and Journal of Nanoparticle Research. |
