Comments We investigate the high-temperature superconductor-related materials experimentally.The competing symmetry-breaking electronic states against superconductivity is commonly seen in these materials.
Particularly, the spin and/or charge density waves in the high temperature superconductors brings a serious electronic damage against the occurrence of superconductivity. We are investigating experimentally the competing electronic states in the high-Tc superconductors by means of the low-temperature in-situ break junction method (BJTS) with the super cleanliness crystal interface as well as the cryogenic temperature scanning tunneling microscope (STM) having the atomic resolution. In addition, we are performing the theoretical analysis by the long-term close collaborations to clarify the mechanisms of high-temperature superconductivity.
