Comments | Kiichi Amimoto was born in Fukuoka, Japan. He received his B. Sc. And M. Sc. from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Kyushu University, where he studied on the synthesis of highly symmetrical, nitrogen-bridged cage compounds. Subsequently, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the group of Prof. Toshio Kawato at Kyushu University and received his D. Sc. in 2001 under the supervision of Prof. Kawato. He has also worked at the Research and Development Center for Higher Education. He was moved to Hiroshima University as Lecturer in 2007. Now he has worked as Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Education, Hiroshima University. His main research field is chemical education, organic chemistry, photochemistry, and crystal chemistry. His current research interests are placed on the development of teaching materials for chemistry as well as the construction of functional organic systems such as photochromism and luminescence. |
