NAKAYAMA AKIKO
Associate Professor
Affiliation Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Discipline Sociology of Education
Academic Degrees Osaka University
Osaka University
Research Fields Humanities; Linguistics; Japanese language education
Social sciences; Education; Sociology of education
Research Keywords Life stories / Cross-Cultural education / Sociology of education / Teaching Japanese as a Second/ Foreign Language
Comments My research has started to answer the question "what kind of experiences do Japanese language learners have in Japan." which grabbed me as a Japanese language teacher and as a foreign language learner. In the process of tackling the question, I was aware of the fallacy and the limit I was captured.
I am also interested in qualitative research methods and teacher education.
