| Comments | My specialty is Japanese language education and sociolinguistics. In particular, I am interested in topics (1)–(3). (1) Research on strategies to persuade monolinguals and bilinguals in multilingual societies; (2) research on the classroom culture of Japanese language teachers in developing countries (views of learning, teaching, and teaching); and (3) Research on Japanese language education and Japanese language teacher training curricula in Central Asia (mainly Kyrgyzstan), as well as joint research in Japan and Kyrgyzstan. We are working on the development of textbooks for Japanese language teacher training and teaching materials for Japanese language learners (presentation materials, Japanese-Japanese dictionaries, etc.). |
