Research Keywords
Comments My research is grounded in evolutionary biology and statistical genetics, with a focus on mining biological insights from large-scale genomic data to uncover the genetic mechanisms underlying complex traits. Focusing primarily on mammals and birds, I work on statistical modeling of genomic variants associated with complex traits, inference of evolutionary histories of biological characteristics, and prediction of potential biological features from unknown genomes. These findings are further applied to genetic breeding and medical research. In addition, I conduct virological studies, including analyses of viral evolutionary histories, frequency analysis of viral mutations, monitoring of high-risk variants, and providing information to support viral control strategies.
