Comments What is it about texts, those black ink stains on paper, that make us call them "literature" and move us? And in what context were these texts born? Through the work of modern Japanese writers and postwar Taiwanese writers and haiku poets, we are considering the human attempt to connect finite life to eternity, that is, the possibilities and impossibilities of language.
