Comments | My major is safety engineering, especially evacuation behaviour experimental investigation in smoke filled tunnel and underground safety. The tunnel spaces are long and enclosed. Therefore, evacuation, rescue, and fire-fighting activities that may occur in tunnels present a very difficult challenge as even small incidents have a high possibility of causing significant losses. Considering that Japan owes many tunnels, an optimal performance design of tunnel fire safety is needed. Based on these backgrounds, my research focuses on smoke and evacuees behaviors in tunnel fires by experiments and simulations. |
