| Comments | My research interests lie in plant science, primarily elucidating molecular mechanisms for plant strategies to grow in and survive under constantly changing environments, with a special focus on the roles of stress-associated biomolecules (including genes, proteins, and metabolites), metabolisms, and their regulation. Applied research is also conducted to exploit the capabilities of plants for better performance and resilience under hostile environments and the productivity of photosynthetic microalgae for useful substances such as biofuels, as efforts to translate the fruits of basic research into practical applications. |
