Comments Chemical reaction dynamics is a research approach to elucidate how and why chemical reactions occur. Materials are generally formed and decomposed by chemical reactions, where reactant molecules deform, bend, shrink and stretch to form new chemical bonds. Chemical reactions always produce heat, which is originated from the motions of reactants. All the degrees of freedoms of molecular motions can be observed by our experimental approaches; laser spectroscopy illuminates vibrational an rotational motion s of the reactants as well as the spin states. Scattering methods provide the speed and directions given to the reactants at the moment of reactions. Observation and understanding of microscopic motions of reacting molecule give us a fundamental basis to predict and create characteristic functionality and structures of materials.
