Mathematical and physical sciences; Physics; Condensed matter physics II |
Research Keywords | Correlation / Electron |
Comments | My research field is condensed matter physics and I am studying the properties of electrons in solids theoretically. In particular, my interest is the Mott transition, which is metal to insulator transition caused by the Coulomb repulsion between electrons, and related phenomena. Many of transition metal and rare earth compounds exhibit interesting properties such as superconductivity or magnetism caused by the Coulomb interaction. |
