Comments I belong to the Chemical Engineering Program and am studying polymer gels. My previous job was a petrochemical plant engineer. When I was a student, I was researching immobilized culture of animal cells in polymer gels. Polymer gel is a substance that has both liquid and solid properties, and its unique properties can be applied to various fields such as reaction, separation, storage, and energy conversion. Although the polymer gels are studied in all over the world, only simple properties such as water absorption and water retention have been utilized industrially. Therefore, I am researching the utilization of the unique physical and chemical properties of polymer gels such as environmental purification and substance production methods.
