Comments | I am theoretically studying the physics of superconductivity and superfluidity. In particular, I am interested in quantum phenomena occurring at the interface (or surface) of superconducting and superfluid materials. At the interface of superconducting materials, quantum states appear that cannot exist inside the materials (localized at the interface). Similar quantum states also appear in the superfluid phase of liquid Helium-3. Such interfacial quantum states show various properties reflecting the individuality of materials, and this diversity makes the physics of superconductivity and superfluidity very rich and fascinating. |
