Primary energy sources are consumed in large quantities. However, 70% of this energy is discarded as heat. If electrical energy could be extracted from this waste heat energy, it would make a significant contribution to a carbon-neutral society. From this perspective, thermoelectric conversion systems are attracting a great deal of interest. I am working on the development of thermoelectric conversion materials based on organic materials.
